LGBTQ students in Lee County need our help! Each year issues guidance on how to implement existing policies for LGBTQ+ students is released by the Lee County School Board. Recently, this guidance has come under attack. Attend the meeting and tell LCSB to leave the LGBTQ+ guidance in place.

LGBTQ students in Lee County need our help! The Lee County School Board has been providing protections for LGBTQ youth for years, and each year issues guidance on how to implement existing policies for LGBTQ students. Recently, this guidance has come under attack.
We know that these policies are mandated by federal and state law and we also know that they ensure our LGBTQ youth can have their unique needs met. They help to guarantee our LGBTQ young people in Lee have a system of public education where they are safe and can thrive.
We can’t let these attacks take us backwards. We need YOU to send a message to the Lee County School Board to fulfill their legal obligation and to stand up for our LGBTQ students!
